Join saxophonist Jason Ji for his debut solo recital before he embarks to Japan to pursue his further studies. This evening celebrates the expressive range, colour, and versatility of the saxophone through a diverse and compelling program. Featuring music by Philip Sparke, a cornerstone of the English band tradition; the late Toshio Mashima; French classics by Jacques Ibert and Fernande Decruck; and the Australian premieres of works by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Cait Nishimura.

Accompanied by pianist Po Goh, this debut recital promises an engaging and memorable musical experience for both seasoned concert-goers and those discovering the saxophone in a classical setting for the first time.
